Os Mouchos petroglyph

Petróglifos Os Mouchos
The petroglyphs of Os Mouchos, in the village of Brión, parish of Leiro (on the path leading to As Cunchas beach), are one of the most interesting and easiest to find groups of rock art in Rianxo.
They are made up of three closely spaced rock formations. In the first, the highest, up to four anthropomorphic representations carrying weapons can be distinguished. Also distinguishable are the figures of three deer. The group is completed with another series of animal forms and bowls. In the second, a horseback riding scene, a group of bowls within an oval with two animal figures to the left and male deer. And in the third, we find the most defined forms that repeat the existing motifs. One of these deer, large on a vertical slab, has generated its own typology: the Rianxo-type zoomorphic.
