The Pozo de Bastón is one of the great natural attractions of Rianxo and the Barbanza Arousa region. Its formation was made possible by the force of the Treito River, one of the tributaries of the Te River, which has created a unique space, with clear waters cascading down a low waterfall.
You can climb to the upper area to enjoy the pool and the surroundings. As with other nearby sites, this enclave has its own legend, which refers to three beautiful women trapped in the pool by an enchantment. There are trails and natural areas in the surrounding area to explore; access is required on foot.
