Corrubedo Lighthouse

This is one of the most emblematic lighthouses on the Galician coast. Built in 1853, it stands on a rocky promontory at the entrance to the Arousa estuary, near the Corrubedo Dune Complex Natural Park and the Carregal and Vixán Lagoons.
With a height of 14 metres, its light reaches a distance of 32 nautical miles, guiding sailors in one of the most important areas of the Galician Atlantic coast. In addition to its practical function, the lighthouse offers spectacular views of the ocean and the natural environment, making it a popular spot for nature and photography lovers. Its privileged location makes it a tourist attraction and a symbol of the region's maritime heritage.
