Croa de Postmarcos Castro

Castro da Croa, in the parish of San Isidro de Posmarcos, has been a special place in A Pobra do Caramiñal for centuries.
Originally a settlement for local settlers, it remains so today, but has undergone a substantial positive change for its present and, above all, its future. Since 2024, it has been owned by the A Pobra do Caramiñal Town Council, as part of a determined commitment to its development. In total, the Council purchased a plot of land measuring 8,804 square meters. The treasure it contains is a small Iron Age fort with an interior area of 3,300 square meters and visible structures in a single enclosure located on a hill and protected by a circular perimeter wall.
