Bermúdez Tower

The Bermúdez Tower was built in the 16th century as a testament to the town's prosperity. At the end of the 18th century, Valle-Inclán's paternal family acquired ownership of the tower, becoming one of the landmarks where the brilliant writer would forge lasting ties.
The tower and the entire building feature Plateresque-style decoration with notable elements, such as the main façade. In 1976, the complex was declared a national historic-artistic monument. It is currently the permanent home of the Valle-Inclán Museum.
