Ethnographic Exhibition Museum of the Sea
The Escarabote Social Center hosts the exhibition that was originally located in Cabo de Cruz and now has more space to accommodate a highly interesting display for visitors, who will be able to understand the roots and significance of the sea for Boiro and the entire Barbanza Arousa region.
This collection reviews the evolution of fishing gear and techniques over time. Along with these, information and elements on shellfish harvesting for bivalves, crustaceans, and cephalopods, inshore fishing, and mussel farming are also featured in the exhibition. Group visits are available.
