Valle-Inclán Museum / Bermúdez Tower

The Valle-Inclán Museum in A Pobra do Caramiñal is located in the Torre de Bermúdez, a 16th-century building linked to the writer's family, as it belonged to his grandparents. It was declared a Historic-Artistic Monument in 1976.
The museum, a municipal initiative, was created in 1986 with the aim of preserving and disseminating the work of a unique figure in Galician and Spanish literature. This exhibition space brings together key aspects of the author's life and artistic output, references to the period and other major contemporary figures with whom he shared experiences and talent. Visitors can discover first and rare editions of the author's books, original manuscripts, period photographs, fine art objects (sculpture, painting, caricature), costumes, stage sets, and theater posters. It also has a hall for temporary exhibitions and an auditorium where various cultural activities are organized throughout the year.
