Pazo do Couto

The Pazo do Couto is another of the great attractions of the town of A Pobra do Caramiñal and a paradigmatic example of Galician stately buildings.
Built between the 18th and 19th centuries, it combines traditional elements with Baroque details, with its gardens, fountain, and imposing façade standing out. It is undoubtedly in a privileged setting, very close to the Church of Santiago do Deán and the Casa Grande Aguiar, and has always been an exceptional witness to the history of A Pobra and the region. It is currently privately owned, and the interior of the Pazo cannot be visited.
